This is a tasty side dish even those who  dislike sorakkai will love this receipe.This  mostly will be done when  you need more quantity but you have less prawns.The taste will be  so good when its hot…..

INGREDIENTS

BOTTLE GOURD/SORAKKAI-1/2

Prawns-250gm

Onion-1\2small

Tomato-1 small

Chilli powder-1 tablespoon

Coriander powder-1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon

Salt – to taste

garlic-4 to5 crushed

cumin -1tsp crush

For seasoning

Mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon

Urud dal-1 teaspoon

red chilli-1

cumin-1/2tsp

Curry leaves-few

Oil-1 tablespoon


PREPARATION

 *clay pot add sorakkai ,onion,tomato,era,turmeric,chilli powder,salt water 1 cup cook and boil for 10 mins.

* Pour oil in a pan add the items given for seasoning.once it splutters add boiled sorakkai and sauté well.

*Once its done add coriander powder, cumin, garlic and close the lid .

Once its done add coriander leaves and serve hot with rice and rotis…
